Holidays schedule

The holiday schedule allows the organisation of a yearly based table with different logic for each site. The feature only works for controllers with a live/online connection.

Holiday schedule is avaliable via Management -> Public Holiday menu: signin

The Import iCalendar button imports data into the system, in the iCalendar format. If the entry (Name, dates and Time Zone) are already imported into the database, then the record will be skipped.

The iCalendar holiday file for the state of NSW, Australia, is available here. For the state of Victoria, Australia, it is available here.

Delete all records button clears the holiday database.

To add a new entry or edit an existing entry, click on the day on the calendar: signin

The time zone value for the holiday is used to link the site's location with the public holiday entry. For example, if the time zone value is set to Australia/Melbourne then only sites with the same time zone will be affected.

The Public Holiday logic can be defined from Management -> Sites and the Edit Site button (right hand side from the list).

Three options are avaliable:

  • No action. No action will be triggered on public holidays.
  • Lock doors & keep employees access. If automatic open door schedule is setup on the day, then when a public holiday occurs, the doors will stay closed. Employees access will stay untouched.
  • Lock doors & block employees access. If automatic open door schedule is setup on the day, then when a public holiday occurs, the doors will stay closed. Employees access will be blocked.
